Drill Steps: • Coach calls “Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines.” • Players tap the top of their ball 10 times with the bottom of their cleat. • Coach calls gears to control dribbling speed. • “First gear” – slow dribbling. • “Second gear” – medium pace. • “Third gear” – faster dribbling. • “Fourth gear” – full speed. • Coach may change gears randomly. • If two balls collide, players call “CRASH” and perform five push-ups outside the grid. • Coach may also call “reverse” and players must dribble backward. Coaching Points: • Keep ball close at slower speeds. • Control touches when changing gears. • Keep head up to avoid collisions. • Use different surfaces of the foot. • Stay balanced while changing speed. Variations: • Weak foot only. • Add turns or skill moves when changing gears. • Reduce space to increase difficulty. • Add specific dribbling commands (inside foot, outside foot). Time: 6–10 minutes
